Company Policies 

Claws of Creativity is an appointment based private nail salon.

Arriving late, last-minute cancellations, and skipped appointments have a negative impact on our business.

While we understand life happens, we also have a business to run and will enforce our policies as they are intended for the businesses best interest at heart.

We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone.

Booking Policy

- A $30 nonrefundable booking fee is required for each appointment.


- The amount goes toward your service for only that initial reserved day and time.


- If you contact us directly more than 48 hours before your appointment we will reschedule you with the same booking fee (1) time. 


- Further reschedules will require a new payment. 


- If you do not contact us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule, the amount paid will be forfeited.


- If you do not contact us at all & do not show up for your appointment your booking fee is not refunded or transferable and you will be blocked from booking.


- If you have made it a consistent habit to cancel/reschedule your appointment then we will charge you full price of the service

and/or require prepayment for any future appointments.


- If you continue to still not follow the policy then we have the right to refuse any future appointments.

Late Policy

Arriving late to your appointment not only affects your appointment but it affects the clients scheduled after you and the flow of the whole day.

For this reason we have a strict 15 minute late policy. 

- After 15 minutes your appointment will be cancelled, you will be marked as a no show client, and will be billed according to our policy. 

- If you know you are going to be late, communication with us is key. 

- If you arrive after the 15 minute mark and we are still able to accommodate you, a $10 late fee will be added to your total.

Nail Service Specific Policies

Freestyle Sets

Only book a freestyle set if you are okay with allowing me full creative control of your set.

If you would like to add input or have a specific design in mind do not book this service.


Being Prepared 


- It is extremely important you know what you want on your nails PRIOR to your appointment.

There is not extra time built in for you to spend looking for a design and going back and forth. 

- Once you book an appointment it is your responsibility to send me a picture of any inspiration pictures you want

so I can be properly prepared to accommodate the design you want and adjust timing if necessary/available.

- Some items may need to be purchased to achieve certain designs so once you decide and I buy supplies for it,

I do expect you to stick with that design and not change your mind last minute. 


Soak Offs


- All soak offs are priced the same until it is determined upon removing the previous product that it does not contain MMA.

 - All soak offs of my work will be discounted at checkout.


New Clients


- Natural nails must be bare or soak off is required.

- Healthy nails are necessary to ensure the integrity of the service,

I will not work on damaged nails due to poor removal elsewhere.

- If you show up to your appointment with damaged nails or a soak off not already booked,

your appointment will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit as well as be charged per our cancellation policy.

 - If you are unsure of whether I can still provide service please text me a picture of the current state of your nails. 


Timing


- All hard gel & Gel-X sets can take anywhere from 2.5 - 4+ hours depending on many factors including,

but not limited to, the starting condition of your nails and complexity of designs requested.

- Please keep this in mind when booking and do not come in rushing to leave.

- I do not like to rush at all. I put my all in to every set I do and really strive for achieving the exact set you want.

- When I am forced to rush I cannot guarantee the quality or longevity of your nails,

so please be prepared and contact me directly for a time estimate prior to booking if needed.


Fills


- I only perform fill services over my own work.

- After 2 weeks you will be charged full price if rebalancing is required.

 - A discount to the full set will be applied at checkout if applicable.

- Excessive lifting or more than 2 nails missing will be charged as a full set.

- Excessive cuticle work needed will also result in being charged as a full set. 

- If lifting is too excessive, a soak off and full set will be required. Appointment may have to be rescheduled

if time doesn’t allow for soak off plus full set so booking correctly is extremely important.

- New set is required after 4 fill appointments.

- Gel-X services require a soak off & new set each 2 times so no fill discount is applicable since it is included in the cost.


Broken Nails


- I will fix any broken / chipped nails up to 5 days after your original service.

- Your nail bed cannot be damaged or I won’t be able to fix it.

- After 5 days, a $8 fee per fix will be charged per broken nail.

If replacement of art is needed then fee will increase based on what was done.
